April 19, Club Meeting

At our April meeting our guest speaker was Judge, John Mark Nicholson.

John Mark Nicholson is a native of Cambridge, Ohio.  He is the son of the late Dr. Bill Nicholson and Carabell Nicholson.           John Mark graduated from Cambridge High School, Yale University (with a degree in history) and from the Ohio Northern Law School.

His wife, Priscilla, has recently retired from teaching children with learning disabilities at the Larry Miller intermediate school in the East Muskingum School District in New Concord.  They are the parents of two children, Sarah Burke and Brian Nicholson.  They have two grandsons, Nicholas and Brody.

Judge Nicholson was elected Judge of the Cambridge Municipal Court in 1989, and served for twelve years on the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Municipal and County Court Judges Association.

Prior to becoming Judge, Judge Nicholson practiced law briefly in Kenton, Ohio before returning the Cambridge to work at the firm of Tribbie, Scott and Moorehead and as an assistant prosecuting attorney.
